I am curious as to what temp range the homemade temp controller can handle.

I want to use it for cooling a non-pc related project, to maintain temps around 50 F for lagering beer.
The controller would pull air from a refrigerator when temps were above 55 and stop at about 50.
Could this possibly work in that low temp range?
