Hello,

I have a question my cpu fan stopped working so I replaced it. I also removed the access thermal compound and added more. My 2 questions is do I add it on the cpu the thermal compound or the heatsink. I added it on the cpu it seems like it would be harder to add to the heatsink to make sure it lines up with the cpu. Is that OK or should I add it to the heatsink. Also how can I tell if the heatsink made contact with the thermal compound on the cpu you really can't see if it is connected I can't push it any more it just seems like there is space I am able to close the clamps to lock the heatsink. Any responses would be appreciated.

Thank You
