I have a emachine desktop with a sempron processor--ran ok for two years--suddenly starting going into hibernate mode and would not respond..would also shut off all of the sudden.checked BIOS and the cpu temp would go up to 110 and kick off shortly thereafter.I do not overclock or anything like that.just a regular computer.i have to open the panel and put a home fan blowing on the inside just to keep it on long enought to type this message.please help...was told by a tech that the motherboard is probably bad and to replace it and the power supply to be safe at the same time.does this make sense?don't know if i'll be able to get back online--please e-mail a response to --mandlkoz@sbcglobal.net----thank you
