I can\'t source local a 10k thermistor.I can get a 15k or a 4.7k.Would I have to change other components to make the cooling fan circuit work and is that possible or would the 15k be alright?

TIA

Hi,

you can use a 15K thermistor, but also use a 15K potentiometer in this case.
4.7K both will also work, but I think 15K is the better choice.

All the best,

I\'m struggling to find matching Thermistors and trim pots.

I can get a 47k Thermistor and a 50k trim pot(Cermet)
Would that work?

I can get a 15k Thermistor and a 10k Trim pot(cermet)
