By: justlearning (IP: 24.222.106.*) Written on: 08-12-2005 01:59 hi, I recently had to replace a burnt out motherbaord, so I got a motherboard/processor 741GX-M and sempron 2400 processor the sempron has a much smaller heat sink, than was on the older processor (athlon ac-ax1700dmt3c), not only that, but the old heatsink fan ran air through it much faster, I can tell the diffrence just by putting my hand over the old heat sink, and feeling the air comeing from it with my hand over the new heatsink fan, I can hardly feel the air from it I know this sounds like a stupid question, but is there any possibility that the newer, smaller heat sink is actually better than the bulkier old one? or should I reinstall the old one
