The system needs to operate from -40 to +85 deg without a cooling fan due to magnetic field sensing sensors. The computer manufacturer has a list of allowable CPU's that contains Pentium, K6-2 and K6-III, 400 Mhz man with fan. I am looking at the possibility of installing K6-2 or K2-III dissipating low power..... I would appreciate you comments on my options of processors and heat sinks. Have a great day Indiana

K6-III CPUs can be cooled passively, but require large heatsinks. bye, Tillmann
