Subject: Which way should I face my case Fans?

I'm not sure which way I should face my fans. Should they blow in or out. There are three case fans in my computer. The one at the front I think sucks air in. The ones at the top back I also set blowing in on the cpu heat sink. I read the case cooling faq though and it says I should face the ones in the back blowing out. If I do that my temps go up. Right now I've got idle temps of 37 cpu 33 case. Earlier in the day I had my fans in the back blowing out and the idle temps were like 59 and 54. So should I do it by the book or should I leave it like it is? Here is a picture of my computer.

Hi,

the tips in the "case cooling" section are mostly a guide to DIYers who are assembling their own PC, or adding fans to an existing system. What is said there applies to standard ATX cases.

Your case is much different, e.g. it doesn't use an ATX power supply. If you have a ready-made system where the manufacturer put some engineering work into the cooling system (complete with fan ducts and everything), I suggest that you leave it as it is.

bye,
Tillmann
