Subject: Thermal Compound Vs. Glue

Right now I'm currently using Artic Silver 5 Compound for my core cooling, but I would also like to use it for cooling the memory chips off a video card, but The problem is that the heatsinks provided with the aftermarket cooler probably wouldn't stick to the compound and have a good grib on the chips for it to be securley on the card.

Is there an excellent alternative to using an excellent compound and /or thermal glue that would keep the heatsinks alone on the chips rather than using thermal tape?

Thanks!

you shoulden't use thermal grease for ram.

most ram heatsinks already comes with thermal tape. you should use it. if it dosen't come with it, then you should buy it.
